A barnfind-condition Rolls-Royce with motor show history and a rock star owner is coming up for sale with H&H next week.
The one-of-24 James Young-bodied Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud Sports Saloon was apparently commissioned by Jack Barclay for the 1955 Earls Court Motor Show.
It has been owned by Dave Stewart of The Tourists and Eurythmics for the past two decades, during which time the Royce was flamboyantly decorated with a huge rose motif.
The Silver Cloud was last on the road in 1992 when a planned restoration was put on hold due to the musician's relocation to the USA.
The project Rolls-Royce will be go under the hammer at Chateau Impney next Wednesday (4 December) with an estimate of £5-7000.
