Sunbeam club to hold first national rally since 2008

| 3 Jul 2013

The Sunbeam Rapier Owners' Club is to hold its first National Rally since 2008.

The event will take place at Bodicote, near Banbury from 16-17 August and will include a visit to the Association of Rootes Car Clubs archive.

There will also be tours and the weekend will culminate in a showground display, with a special area marking 50 years since the launch of the Series IV Rapier in 1963.

The reason for the hiatus in 'national' events is that, for the past few years, the club has been holding what it calls Elevated Local Rallies, regional events that make it easier for its members to attend.
