| 10 Sep 2013

Eight cars designed by Peter Brock are to be displayed on Sunday (15 September) at the 2013 Palos Verdes Concours d’Elegance at the Trump National Golf Club in California.

They include the De Tomaso P70, a one-off prototype unveiled at the 1965 Turin Auto Show and hidden from public view until 2007.

The others are a 1963 Corvette Split Window Coupe, 1963 AC Cobra CSX 2005, 1965 Shelby Mustang GT350, 1968 BRE Datsun Roadster, 1970 BRE Datsun 510, plus a couple of moderns in the shape of a 2010 McCluskey Daytona Coupe CSX 2605 and 2013 Brock Coupe, aka the Superformance Shelby Daytona Coupe.

Brock, the event's Grand Marshal, will drive his Superformance Coupe in the Concours’ Pleasure Road Rallye on 14 September.

As well as the Brock cars, there will be special celebrations for Aston Martin's centenary, the Corvette's 60th anniversary and a half century of the Loewy Avanti.
