New auction house revealed for Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts' Club

| 21 Dec 2011

After a 15-year association with Bonhams, there will be a new sale house running the annual Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts' Club auction next year.

Taking up the reins will be H&H Classic Car Auctions. Richard Caton of H&H said: "We're very much looking forward to a long and fruitful relationship with the club. The forthcoming sale fits perfectly with H&H's strategy for 2012. We hope to grow the sale year on year and make it one of the key events in the classic car year."

James Knight, group head of Bonhams' Motoring Department, said: “The sale at the R-REC has been a fixture on the Bonhams calendar for many years. It is always a big decision to break with a traditional sale but the market is constantly evolving and we need to ensure we move with it. In recent years, we have witnessed a desire from our clients to offer their Rolls-Royce and Bentleys to a broader cross section of collectors, especially through our higher profile sales that naturally attract a wider audience. We have enjoyed a harmonious working relationship with the R-REC and will continue to offer our support through club membership as well as advertising and marketing in club journals.”
