Singers on song in the valleys

| 6 Jun 2011

Singer Owners' Club members enjoyed two days of splending driving in Wales – including the Black Mountain and Epynt Ranges – as part of a tour from 20-23 May.

The 28 members of the club stayed at Llanerchindda Farm Guest House – just outside Llandovery on the border between Carmarthenshire and Powys – and made the best of some of the UK's best driving roads.

Event organiser Alan Carter said: “Congratulations to everyone at Llanerchindda on a fabulous weekend, to which we would like to add
our own heartfelt thanks for making the weekend so wonderful and stress
free from our point of view.  Everything from the food, accommodation, the
road books and the covered storage for the 'mechanical prams' was fantastic.”

Martin Hadley Owner of Llanerchindda Farm (which runs Classic Tours of Mid Wales: see the website or call 01550 750274) said: “It was a pleasure to look after the club over the weekend, it was so nice to see such well maintained cars being driven as they were intended and we look forward to welcoming the club back again when they return in September 2012."
