Dine out with C&SC at Chelsea AutoLegends

| 27 May 2011

Classic & Sports Car is media partner for the second running of Chelsea AutoLegends on the 4th September 2011 and is supporting a very special dinner on Saturday 3rd September to be held in the Great Hall at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, with a pre-dinner champagne reception in Figure Court in the heart of the Christopher Wren designed building.

This is a unique opportunity to dine in the Great Hall which will provide a fabulous backdrop to a celebration of the Great Patrons of the 1960s, particularly Rob Walker, Colonel Ronnie Hoare, Tommy Sopwith and John Coombs.

A selection of their stunning cars will be on display, including Rob Walker’s Ferrari 250GT SWB in which Stirling Moss won the 1961 Goodwood TT exactly 50 year ago. A number of those who ran, drove or worked for the teams will share their memories with Simon Taylor, master of ceremonies for the evening. During dinner an auction will be conducted by Bonhams in aid of the Royal Hospital and the Chelsea Pensioners.

Classic & Sports Car has arranged for a limited number of tickets to be available to our readers on a first-come-first-served basis. Tickets are available at £150 inc VAT. Contact linda.patterson@chelseaautolegends.com or call 08454 031025.
