Heavyweights come to Gaydon

| 15 May 2012

Hundreds of vans and trucks will amass at the Heritage Motor Centre for the fifth Classic and Vintage Commercial Show from 9-10 June.

Visitors are expected to attend in their thousands for the event that will feature everything from Ford Transits to Morris vans, HGVs such as an Albion Tipper (below) and the mammoth heavy-hauler Scammell Pioneer (main picture).

Joining the vehicles will be more than 60 stands and traders selling items such as vehicle spares, photographs, diecast models, brochures and tools.

There will also be an indoor show featuring more than 160 tables of models and kits, plus a broad selection of radio controlled cars.

Event executive for the Heritage Motor Centre Emma Rawlinson said: “This event is a real step back in time and fascinating for families. Not only can you see different types of commercial vehicles, but you can also find a brilliant bargain at the trade stands.”
