Lancia club celebrates 50 years of the Fulvia

| 23 Jan 2013

The Lancia Motor Club will mark 50 years of the Fessia-designed Fulvia with a signature event during the May bank holiday based at Norton Park Hotel near Winchester.

Technical workshops, plus an exhibition of Fulvia books will get the event started on Friday 24 May.

Proceedings will get into full swing on Saturday, though, with a visit to the Goodwood Motor Circuit. Participants can choose from a half-day or a full-day of track action with a limit of eight cars on track at any one time. A parade of Fulvia’s will complete a lap of the circuit at midday.

In the afternoon, the paddock will play host to a Fulvia-only concours, before members return to Norton Park for a dinner and talk from marque guru Wim Oude Weernink, who wrote La Lancia and Lancia Fulvia and Flavia – A Collectors Guide.

The event will conclude on Sunday with a tour through the Hampshire countryside en route to the National Motor Museum in Beaulieu.

The meet is open to members of the UK Lancia Motor Club as well as members from the marque’s overseas clubs, while spectators are free to attend Saturday’s gathering at Goodwood.
