Everything from a 1927 Bentley 4.5 to a 1958 Porsche 356A Coupé and a 1972 Ford Mustang took part in the recent Tiger Rally through South East Asia, but robust Swedish cars dominated the results.
The 17-car event was won by Jose and Maria Romao de Sousa in a Volvo 142S, with the PV544 Volvo of Roland and Stein van Pelt taking second ahead of the Alvis Speed 20/25 of Jan Woien and Jan Hansen in third.
Organised by H&H Classic Rallies, the three-week-long route covered more than 5000km, taking in Malaysia, Thailand, Laos and Cambodia.
Incidents were limited to a single 'off' from Gerd Buehler’s BMW 327/8.
