More than 60 historic racers prepare for Le Mans showdown

| 22 Nov 2012

The Le Mans 24 hours’ historic support race – the Le Mans Legend – will be a two-driver event held on Saturday 22 June.

The competition is open to cars that were built from 1949-’65 and will attract top-end racing machines such as AC Cobra, Aston Martin DBR1, Ferrari 250LM and Jaguar D-type.

Billed by organisers as "the jewel in the crown of historic motor sport" cars – from Triumph, Alfa Romeo, Porsche, Lotus and Austin-Healey – will also take their place on the grid of 61 confirmed entrants.
