Nothing to regret at Prescott's La Vie En Bleu

| 1 Jun 2011

A parade of Bugattis, including the world record-holding Super Sport, was the highlight of the annual French – and now other nations – celebration La Vie En Bleu at Prescott Hillclimb over the last weekend in may.

The two-day event concentrated on French and classic English marques on the Saturday and "almost exclusively" les choses françaises on the Sunday.

As well a mind-boggling variety of machinery on the picturesque hill - ranging from Vintage aero-engined beasts to brand-new supercars – as always at Prescott, the car parks were just as big a draw.

There were impressive owner club displays from Ferrari, Ginetta, Lotus and TVR on Saturday plus Alpine Renault, Citroën, Matra, Peugeot and many more on Sunday.

A special feature for 2011 was an Invicta celebration marked by several cars competing on the hill and even more parked up in Ettore's Field. The new Morgan three-wheeler also made a guest appearance.
