London concours returns to the Hurlingham Club

| 4 Mar 2012

Concours d'Elegance London is returning to the Hurlingham Club in Fulham this year from 4-6 July.

The event, which follows previous concours by Louis Vuitton and Salon Privé on the same site, this year has added the tag "fine shopping salon" to its publicity.

That might dilute its appeal to classic car enthusiasts, but should boost the overall audience, which seemed thin on its inaugural running last year.

There are no details yet of the cars that will be on site or accompanying special features, but the prices to attend have been revealed. The VIP package (entry, food and drink) is from £165, while entry alone will be £65. Click here to book and for more details.

The organisers said: "Concours d’Elegance has quickly established itself as one of the 'must-attend' events of the season; guests can sip fine champagne whilst enjoying the pinnacle of timepiece, automobile, yacht, and aviation design, hosted at London’s sumptuous Hurlingham Club on the banks of the River Thames.

"Inspired by the salons of the 18th century, Concours d’Elegance has a rich 20-year heritage, celebrating everything that epitomises design and style. Concours d’Elegance sets itself apart from other Concours events, as guests have the opportunity to intimately explore some of the world’s finest luxury vehicles: Pagani, Atom, Bugatti and Lamborghini on the road; Linley Swan GP Powerboats and Sunseeker yachts on the water; Rizon Jets and Eurocopter helicopters to take to the skies."
