Classics to take over Wallingford in May

| 23 Nov 2011

The streets of the historic Oxfordshire town of Wallingford will be taken over by classic cars on 13 May for the eighth Wallingford Classic Vehicle Rally & Parade.

This year more than 200 cars took part and more than 2000 spectators turned out, primarily for the highlight of the event, the parade headed by the Mayor.

A new feature for 2011 was a series of charity rides in everything from a vintage Rolls-Royce to a Ferrari F355, which helped boost the 2011 donation to See Saw Bereavement Support for Children to £3500.
