A special dinner – surrounded by appropriate cars – has been held to mark the 60th anniversary of HWM's (Hersham and Walton Motors) partnership with Aston Martin.

The event took place in the showroom where it all began in 1951, hosted by HWM directors Mike Harting, his son Andrew and Paul Spires, with guests including Aston Martin Directors Michael van der Sande and Kingsley Riding-Felce, Viscountess Downe and Richard Jackson from the Aston Martin Owners' Club, and long-standing customers and friends.

The sumptuous dining was surrounded by a 1963 Aston Martin DB4, the current Virage Coupe and the £1.3 million One-77 supercar.

Andrew Harting, Chief Executive of HWM, said: “Aston Martin has always been iconic, and it’s an honour for a family-owned and managed business such as HWM to have represented the marque for so long. Our longevity is powered by a passion for the product and, as we celebrate the past, we look to the future with great excitement.”
