Classic & Sports Car – Next-generation showcase launched for Concours of Elegance

A new ‘30 Under 30’ feature has been revealed for this summer’s Concours of Elegance, to celebrate younger classic car owners.

The standalone concours at the Hampton Court Palace event on 3-5 September will showcase 30 cars owned by enthusiasts aged 30 or under, split across six classes representing 99 years of automotive history.

And the emphasis is not necessarily on pristine, high-end classics, but on fine examples of much-loved cars.

Also at September’s Concours of Elegance will be the earliest surviving Aston Martin as it celebrates its centenary, an evocative Gulf vs Martini display and a line-up of coachbuilt Rolls-Royces.

And making a return after its 2020 debut is the Junior Concours, for half-scale, handbuilt petrol-powered, electric and pedal cars of all ages.
