Think Salon Privé and rip-roaring rally cars might not be the first things that come to mind, but they will form part of this year’s grand finale on Sunday 5 September.
Held at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire from Wednesday 1 September, Salon Privé’s closing day is the only one that’s fully open to the public and will see it double in size, while visitors will witness the inaugural Salon Privé Hill Sprint.
Blenheim Palace formerly hosted a stage of the RAC Rally and for 2021 a set featuring Group A, Group B and WRC machinery will tackle a course running from the North Gates down to the Great Vanbrugh Bridge.
There will also be a display of cars to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Richard Burns’ World Rally Championship win, plus a line-up in honour of Colin McRae who achieved the same feat 25 years ago last year, COVID-19 forcing the postponement of that tribute.
