Owners of classic Maseratis can now establish the pedigree of their cars and receive additional factory support thanks to the launch of Maserati Classiche.
A classic can be awarded a certificate of authenticity from the manufacturer, once it has undergone a process during which more than 300 checks are made, cross-referencing with documents held in the brand’s archive to determine the car’s history and originality.
The first road car to receive this level of scrutiny and recognition is a Mistral 3700, which originally left the factory in March 1969 finished in silver Auteuil.
Certification is available for all classic Maseratis that are at least 20 years old, and is similar to schemes from other manufacturers including Ferrari, Porsche and Lamborghini.

Detailing, servicing and restoration are further offerings from the new Maserati Classiche, which has the benefit of the manufacturer’s archives to ensure authenticity.
This archive will also assist in the remanufacturing of parts no longer available, building them according to the original designs but using 21st-century technology to improve their reliability.
Plus, Maserati says there is more to come in 2022 – check out the options here.
